Martina Furdek Turk, Ph.D, from the Department for Marine and Environmental Research from Ruder Boskovic Institute, Zagreb, has finished a short-term training training in duration from 27.11. to 1.12.2017 at Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana at the Department of Environmental Sciences. Under the mentorship of Tea Zuliani, Ph.D, she was working on the development of the method and the analysis of strontium isotopes in olive oil, which is a reliable indicator of olive oil origin. The analyses of strontium isotope ratio were performed by multicollector-ICPMS (MC-ICPMS) after Rb and matrix removal on Sr specific resin.
Dr. sc.
